Have a look at the exhaust as they seem to stick out a bit too much for the saloon.
Also check the rear shocks as they looked a bit grubby in the pictures.

    Other than that:-
    • Subframe
    • Heater hose/valve operation
    • Condition of rear brakes/discs
    • Rear springs

    Hope it works out OK......

They look like tourer exhausts from the photos and the N/S one has dropped a considerable amount. The rear shock, as Herman says, would bear some closer examination and something strange going on with the scuttle panel clips.

Hope it all works out Graham.

    Slightly worried now! :-(

Exhausts as long as they sound good I don't mind, probably need a tweak to line them up.

Not sure what grubby shocks would suggest, oil leak?

The scuttle panel does look interesting, didn't spot that...

    Where in Cornwall is it?

If I am free I can come down with you.

It's only metal, plastic and rubber. As long as the body is sound and it does not have any unwanted sounds.

No need to get worried, just informed.

    Forewarned is forearmed

    Might help the deal...

Didn't mean to worry you Graham but as Herman says "forewarned is forearmed." Most things are sortable.

Herman/Nich, Graham has had a Email transcript of the "Buyers Guide" as for some reason he can't access it. (That is the second person this week)

MG ZT/ZT-T and Rover 75 V8 Buyers Guide I can log out and still see it.
