Why not instead of phoning people and asking them to check this and that, which I've had experience of in my job as a parts man and believe me if you're busy there's nothing more annoying get all your finances sorted out and then do what you're planning. To be honest if you don't have the funds in place to carry out what you're planing which is going to be a horrendous cost it'll be much more by the time you have the funds and you'll be asking the same questions to suppliers all over againGuess I am becoming a pain in the ass.

Think what I'll do is wait and bide my time.
Once I have a certain amount, then get the parts bit by bit.
It will take a while, but a slow progress is better then no progress at all.

I think the cost of this project could get to be very high. The main problem is the cost of unique parts which will add up very quickly, to build a ZR190 race car is about £15,000 in parts alone and they are all off the shelf. Our ZT520 dampers cost £6000 its always better to buy a car that has already been built.
You might have more luck on one of the forums dedicated to the whole MG/Rover range rather than the specific Two-Sixties which is, by it's very nature, focussed on owners and prospective owners of MG 260/R75 V8 models specifically.
