Difficult to say. I registered and watched the whole auction up to the R75V8 on streaming video. Prices were very strong across the board again. I saw 3 internet bidders and I think there was at least one commision bidder for the Rover. The hammer actually fell at £17,000 (unsold), so the sale was obviously the result of sanctioned post-auction negotiations between seller and bidder(s). Not clear if the stated £19,244 included the 10% or 11% buyer's fee or not.Originally Posted by barry monk

Its £10k less than the garage was asking for around 3 years.
News to me, Ross. Which garage was that, do you recall? Never saw it advertised at any of the "regular watering holes".
Not confusing it with the 20 miles Platinum R75V8, #702, in Bristol are you, maybe? That one has been for sale for nearer 13 years though.
