Good point, but I try to avoid going there - it always costs me a fortune, and that would be in addition to the now huge cost of getting there!

Nice motor. If you like the noise & I guess you have Xpowers fitted then I would recommend that you check & see if they have been sleeved, if not get it done, you will almost double the volume!

    Enjoy the acquisition...

Wasn't that Deranged Rover's old car?

It was indeed! And I'm very pleased that I've found such an enthusiastic new owner for it (and thoroughly nice bloke too!). I did confess to Ric's Dad a twinge of remorse on Friday afternoon as Ric drove it away, and the X-Powers reverberated back off the walls of the pub...

    My new toy...

Cheers for the times and advice on here, the XK is a keeper, but a 'charged ZT-T could tempt me in the future sometime. Love fast wagons.....

I like your new toy. I still hanker (very badly) after one of those. I bought a lottery ticket last night...

I know the feeling. Always wanted one, in this colour and trim, and... and... I confess, my name's Jon and I'm an autoholic.

    Hi Ric
I too have an RV8,bought it in 2001
How do you find the 260 compares
I have to say, at risk of causing fury amongst the 260 stalwarts, I was a bit disappoined with the performance of my first 260 compared to the Rv8
I see you live in Salisbury. My daughter lives in Laverstock so we are there from time to time
Do you know Janspeed, I think they are on the Amesbury road
Last April a bunch of us from the 260s took our cars there for a session on their rolling road
It would be interesting for you to get the 260 checked out against the RV8. When we all went we got a special rate, but it's not all that expensive if you go on your own. Also it's an interesting place to visit if you've not already done so
    Best of luck
    Dave
