that is defo 100% it
i even called my mate who pdi checked it and he said its the one as it was the first 260 that we had in so he remebered the hgg part of the reg
when i was buying it it had 1800 miles on her
still regret not signing that finance form and taking it home to tell the wife i was redundant lololol
still at least she is still on the road so if it ever comes up for sale there is a chance
thanks all for your help with my vauge memory
Rob
Frazer is on here, I'll send him a PM just in case he's not seen this thread.
Spent a happy few hours helping him get it through the MOT. Nice motor and sounds better than mine

Empty garage where #138 used to be
cool
i was also the first person to do a full 4wheel alinment on it too
and replaced the fuel pump (casing split where they clamp together on 2nd tank of fuel)
replaced the passenger base seat cover as a customer managed to put a hole in by sitting on his keys
sorted all sorts of rattles etc on it
quiet a few other odds and sods too
