    Thanks.

Leaning toward the Mk1, like the front end styling, more "MG like" in my eyes.

Off to Devon next week, may take the trailer just incase anything gets listed on Ebay/Pistonheads.Autotrader (Most probably just to wind up the Mrs!)

Mk1 instruments are illuminated white. As Nich said that drivers seat looks chewed probably because it's so far forward going by the space behind it. The driver must be about 4'6" !!! Can I see holes in the grille mesh?

if memory serves correct (this was for sale when I was looking for mine) this was an ex-medical / ambulance car. There were some problems with the wiring in the car internally. Also the satnav didnt work - and i dont think it was the usual shutting down issue - so may not have been easily solvable. Should check if this is now fixed.
Car was on pistonheads aprox 8-12 months ago for £5,000, i think in the cambridge area. Seemed very cheap at the time - but there were reasons. It seems to have done hardly any miles in the meantime.
Could be a good cheap car, but tread carefuly....

From what year is the road tax silly on the 260?

Non SE, but year is an issue (I already line the dictators pockets enough at the pumps!
