.....seriously, is that out of the question? Would solve all 'issues' with getting to places on land. Although as its 'air' based i imagine it would be expensive...

Funny you should mention that because in my research I found a competition based on the web to find the best method of supply of a mobile clinic. One of the entries was a airship module, so definately not out of the question. I have been also nattering with some of my more nuttier biker buds here http://www.therevcounter.com/general...struction.html and some of the suggestions there make very interesting reading indeed.
My request for help is a bit more specific, I wanted to test a principle that if successful could be helpful for the AIDs victims in Kenya. To test the theory I needed to build a prototype and test it so that was what I really needed help with. Mind you all and I mean all of the suggestions so far have move the rpoject on, even if it is only a tiny bit.
I am overwelmed with the spirit of human kindness, truely amazing
Hello,
our army here in South Africa always used these vehicles, and they have an amazing reputation, they were made for Africa for the SA MILitary. Some have become available to the private market. Maybe the 6 x 6 version SAMIL 100 truck if you need something big.
Otherwise the SAMIL 20 is small but carries 2 tons, and can bounce over just about anything.
Here is a site to view some pics and specs
