Sounds like an idea. The AA tell me that half way between Pulborough and Worcester Park is a place called Dorking. There is a pub not far outside Dorking with a reasonable sized car park and (usually) not many customers, called the Stepping Stones. Apparently Michael Winner enjoyed it at some point, but that shouldn't be allowed to put anyone off.
OK, I've done some research on distances and a meeting point, someone else propose dates and times...
