Yes, Andrew, I put it onto the thread Complete List of 260s FOR SALE on Sunday morning (the actual eBay listing was late on Saturday evening).
Looking at the Complete List is a pretty good way of keeping your finger on the pulse, since I update it at least daily from a large number of advertising sources. I bet you missed the one-day auction of a 73,000 mile, XPG, ZT260 that was sold on eBay for £4,100 yesterday afternoon! It was in the Complete List. Someone got a bargain (maybe). You can see the old listing still: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/mg-zt-260...EAAOSwR9pa9vlM

I know somebody who went to look at it a few weeks ago hoping to a deal with the owner as it had been on Ebay for ages, he was there less than 10 mins and said it looked a lot better in the pictures than in the flesh. Oddly the dent on the roof was there when he looked at it.
By the sound of it the owner should take the bid and run.
I know when I was looking for my car some were very disappointing and some owners idea of immaculate is not mine, when you are buying a 14 year old car there will obviously be imperfections but when you see a car described as in A1 condition to find damage or badly repaired damage and with obvious faults it does make you feel like shaking the seller. One car I viewed even had a CAT C that I was not informed about before I viewed the car, the seller reckoned it could be removed if I had it tested.

True, Steve. Went to look at two ZT 260's for sale at garages in my local area in the last couple of weeks. #801 and #822. Both XPG, both had right rear corner damage repaired (badly) coincidentally, and both tatty in the extreme, and both at stupid prices. Euro 14,500 to 19,500 !
... and two bolshy salesmen claiming that you have to expect that with a classic of that age(?); take it or leave it.
I despair !

Did anyone notice the final winning bid (if any) on #609 when the eBay auction ended this evening maybe? I was out of signal on my mobile and was unable to check! Now it has gone from eBay.
We are talking about post #30 in the Complete List of 260s FOR SALE (Page 2).
Thanks!
David
As far as I can see there were no bids.

What I found unusual about that particular listing, was that if I searched for "MG ZT 260 V8" in all categories, it never came up and didn't when advertised on eBay auction a few weeks back. Same on my PC as on my iPhone. I don't know why, but warned the seller accordingly. Maybe because I am accessing it from outside the UK? Why then only that one? Other vehicles did and still do show up in the search.
My eBay 'alert' I have running for that self same search string DID work, which is how I found out about it. Accessing the ad itself was then no problem. Odd, but could perhaps explain why there were no bids if others had the same searching problem maybe.
