This may be a long shot but does anyone know if the gearbox jacket is still available please ?
Mine has decided to fall apart (well, part of it) !
Thanks in advance.

dont they all do that? I lost part of mine on the Grossglockner enroute back from Croatia with Ajay, AndyG, StuC, and Merl. I got a CB call from Merl along the lines of "Col, I think youve got a small tree branch under your car" and there was me wondering what the warm smell was as the blanket dropped onto the exhaust.
Just pulled the affending part of it away and was good to go again
Happy Days

Good grief, I could buy a 3-piece suit for that rather than just a jacket !
Thank you all for your input.
I have indeed pulled the part away that was dragging on the ground & I think that's how it will stay (at least for now).
You're better off without it.Mine nearly set the car on fire in Germany as the wind pressure pushed it onto the exhaust. There is no increase in noise,it seems to serve no purpose whatsoever.
Mine made a lovely home to a family of field mice so yes you are better without8-)
Must of died, now smitten in 260 heaven.
Took mine off years ago and could not tell any difference
