Cool My Lexus and the 75 side by side

Our pride and joys My dad's Lexus LS400 4.0 V8 280 bhp auto, lovely car to drive and the engine is quiet as anything, hardly any viabration at all, but when the power is must it can kick ass simply hit sports mode on, gas struts lower down for better handling and off it goes.

I like the car personally, but there's something the ZT V8 has that the Lexus doesn't, its the V8 rumble and the mean look of a V8 car, it looks the part while Lexus is bulky its a lot bigger then my hybrid and wider.

But still Its a great car and I love it, if we can my dad's wants try and keep the LS as there becoming classic cars.

Here are some photos of our motors.

Cars can be a pain in the backside, The hybrid has had quite a few jobs done I can say it was money well spent.

I had a Toyota Aristo Twin Turbo
( rebadged Lexus GS300..for Jap Home market. ..with the Toyota Twin Turbo Supra motor in it )
Fantastic car. Seriously quick...so smooth. Was concours condition..until some b*stards walked over it..a student "prank" Was written off !
They are a cult car in japan. The tuning stuff available for them is amazing.
I will get another one day ..direct from Japan.

    Only down side..it had a speed limiter.on it...you couldn't get the mk1's de limited !!!

However..wasn't to bad in actual practice..just meant the speedo hovered at 115mph most of the time !! Boring on a straight road though!!

We've had the MK1, Mk2 and The mk3 this is my dad's 3rd lexus now. We had major issure with the MK1 all the eletrics had failed and the ECU failed too. These cars can be worked on, but with the eletrics you either take it to Lexus main dealer or find someone that knows what there doing.

in the end we had to take it to Lexus in Colwyn bay, I'll never forget the figure £6850 to repair.

bloody hell mate yours must have went like a rocket Now that's fun.

That's brilliant mate cheers for that will come in really handy We've been lucky with this one we've had, but it always good to know that there somebody that can work on these

Just got to decide now do we keep the lexus or sell it so the 260 can take it place.

We can only wait and see.
