    Default ZT V8 Steel Crankshaft & Lightweight Steel Flywheel for Sale - Genuine Ford

    Ford MotorSport Cobra Specification Steel Crankshaft and Flywheel, will fit standard clutch, gearbox and starter motor, will reduce rotating masses, good for over 8,500rpm if used with steel rods and forged pistons. Will fit all modular 4.6l engines. Has additional counterbalance weights to reduce high speed vibration. Bargain at £375, is new assembly would cost £1500 to import.

    Default Rods and pistons

    Follow the posted links but £700 for typically for both including postage from the USA, you would need to match the rods and pins and bowl sizes to match the use. But they are not expensive.

    you have to make sure you match the pin (wrist) to the rod and pistons the std engine uses a .866" pin some stronger pistons are .912" this doesn't change the cost.

    Do you know if the pin diameter of the cobra crank is also .866" ?

    Crank Stroke is 90mm bearing sizes are as per the standard cast iron Crank, these cranks have been used in supercharged applications up to 1500 bhp!
