Things go missing, the body work gets damaged and the scrotes have total lack of respect for a special car. The trick is to make sure the car is sent back to your own property or some where you can control.

As for rear screens, they are most likely the easiest screen to get and usually they have no damage.
If these things worry you, wait a few years, and you will have heart palpitations 24/7.
The V8 will be fairly easy to keep on the road, provided you have a bit of technical knowledge or know of someone who has.
