I may be wrong but I think you'd be lucky to get a write-off or MOT failure with serious issues for £1500 to be honest.Anything roadworthy in reasonable condition is unlikely to be much under £3k whatever the mileage.

I know they're worth a lot more than £1500. My point was that guides aren't necessarily the way to value a car!
