It's going to seem a long week Ric.Let's hope the weather is a bit drier for you by Friday
Have you picked it up yet?
Hope you didn't get caught up in the hail and thunder yesterday evening!
Hey, guess what. I've got a new toy!
Big brother for the little sister
Took the 260 over the the Maritime Dockyard in Portsmouth. Driving around the multistorey car park was the highlight of the day. I'm not sure if that should have been the highlight of the day when faced with the history of the place, but hey-ho!
I know, i was warned about the fuel consulmption, but still a fair shock. I think we manage around 28mpg with the RV8, and i guess i have been a touch agressive this w/e with the 260, so expecting average of around 18 ish. But REALLY worth it!
And the noise! My father was driving the 260 up Pepperbox Hill (A36) south of Salisbury on Friday p.m., with me following in my E Class about 50yds behind. Father knocked her down a couple of cogs and flew up the hill; the noise could be heard from 50 yds behind, over my engine and stereo. Magnificent.
I'm looking forward to my father returning from hols in two weeks so we can take them both out for a mini V8 run. Will post photos when we do.
