Stephen and Colin. yes we are UK's specialist Dealer in Monaro's and 260's as there is no substitute for U.S Muscle V8's

these modern day german V8's just have no soul !!

    regards JB

The car is an absolute beauty and compared to the soulless german equivalents its a bargain, if I had 8.5-9k I would snap it up in a second and Im sure it wont be on sale for long, as for whether the asking price is correct or not, like all cars its only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it; I will happily pay the asking price for it if someone can lend me the money! Im good for it, honest :-)

Just to say I have watched this argument over the price of this car with much interest as I was and still am intrested in at least looking at the car, as a novice to MG's I am a little confused as to the different views, given the experience of the members who have commented. I know different people are bound to have different ideas on what's good and bad but, I was hoping to get some clear friendly and educated information to enable Me to at least make my mind up as to if I look or not.

    Depends on your budget.

There is no doubt this is one of the ebst cars out there - James is a good honest dealer, and loves the 260s.
If your budget will allow, this is a top car and good value.
If your budget is lower there are cheaper cars, but they will not be as nice condition, higher miles and wont give you the same confidence in purchase.

If your after a monogram car - dont wait - this is pretty rare.....

I own a 75v8 which I love, it is silver which again I like but I would agree that on our cars the unusual colours are fantastic, if I was looking again or if I get a 260 or another 75 v8 to go with it, I would look at one with a rear colour. Ideally Bacchus, as the numbers dwindle I really think there will be one market for the cars with standard colours and another for the colours that stand out from the crowd.

I think that covers the situation perfectly!
