    Default mark11 260 - wheel colour

    having recently bought my mark11 i would like to know if the 10 spoke 18" alloys ever came in grey? i think maybe they have been sprayed after purchase? As they need a refurbishment i thought i would put them back to the original silver. (if thats what they were?). thanks in advance.

    Can you give us the last 3 digits of the VIN?


    There is much talk about wheel colours in the members section.

    Hopefull someone will come on and have a picture of an origional colour. (My spare wheels have been sprayed black with winter tires on them.)

    I think the original colour was Shadow Chrome. Contact Tim and get your Member Survey, fill it in and you will be able to see lots of threads on colours and where to get your wheels refurbished.

    Hello,

    Think they were shadow chrome originally, like a grey colour, mine were refurbed at some point as most have been, mine are now standard silver colour...

    Thanks to you all who have replied. My wheels are a very dark grey. Seen a picture of them on some of the photos in the gallery. x5power i think was the user name who posted them?

    Welcome along. And the good news is the government has scrapped the 3p tax rise in petrol set for jan. so with fuel set to stay at this all time low........ No wait. The other thing. ....... Um....... All time high...anyway fill ya boots!
