    Default Help

Taken car to garage and there is a slight weep on the top pipe as it enters the radiator at the top on the drivers side. Can any one help me out with a part number for o-ring or gasket there... I don't know which it has.

    Many thanks

Oh and is the cabin meant to get quite warm?

And again, the windscreen steams up more than my CDTi does... could it be a blocked plenum and/or clogged pollent filter?

    Hello,

    Contact Tim for full membership,

Cabin will probably get very warm, especially if aircon is not working.

If you turn climate off it will pump hot air all the time but this is normal.

If your aircon is weak but working you may have a balance valve problem which is very very common, no aircon could mean compressor which again is very very common.

They are prone to steaming up especially if the aircon is not up to speed.

Always worth checking the plenums, but this may not be the problem.

    Where abouts are you?

    Lets see some pictures!

Its the pipe below the one with yellow on that has the slight leak.. it is very slight tho.

The aircon is fine and the cabin is cool with it on.

Sorry for all the questions only had it 4 days!

It is one of the ironies of owning a 260, that you want to take it out on a nice sunny day and give it blast, yet most have aircon problems and you end up boiling in your own juices!

My aircon has problems at the moment and on a recent trip to Southampton (outside it was 21oC) I nearly boiled alive and the heat wave through the dash was tremendous!

    D'oh!

Presumably it would be fairly easy to find something similar that would fit? Anyone done that?

I wonder if a jubilee clip around it would suffice
