    Default Cracked Clutch Filler Cap

    Hi
    Hoping someone can help.
Picked up a MK1 04 plate V8 ZT approx 6 weeks ago, noticed this morning when checking the oil level that the clutch reservoir cap is cracked. Tried searching for replacement part but can't find this listed anywhere.

Anyone have any ideas of part number or where I can obtain a replacement?

    cheers
    Craig

Unfortunately that's not in the public section

Craig - it's worth getting your questionnaire you received from Tim on registration returned so you get full access.

    In the meantime

    Mini (/BMW) part number 34 33 6 756 237

From a 51 reg Mini Cooper.

or it's the same as the Brake resevoir cap, MGR Part number SJL100150

I had exactly the same problem recently (split 320 degrees around the cap) and thanks to your part number for the Mini , I've managed to get a new one from the local BMW dealer for a tenner (including the vat) and it fits fine

    Regards

I *ahem* acquired mine from a Volkswagen Transporter, so it seems to be a very common size cap used on many vehicles. Get yourself down a scrappy and get a selection to try

Got mine as a part of a bundle of other plastic trim bits for my 25 that only paid couple quid for. Vauxhall Vectra/Corsa ones are a direct fit too.
