    Default Handbrake issues

    Hi
Thanks for the welcome messages, hopefully this forum will be useful to keep my car on the road for a long time.
First question i have is the handbrake, mine does work but lever is high, can anyone confirm is the problem due to cable stretch or poor adjustment? if it is the cable stretch where can i get new ones?

    Cheers Ian

hi Ian the cables are no longer made but if you contact Ragman in the 260s shop some are being remanufactured as we speak. Get your order in ASAP. Stretched cables are a commom problem with the 260.

You are all a tease because until this post the poor man was blue.

Welcome along Ian. As you see you are now green so tons of reading ahead. If you look in the shop you will be able to put your name down for the cables and other goodies.

Can you send me your membership number once its available.

ooops didn't notice that, sorry Ian.

Tim, have you considered different coloured writing for in the public domain to make it totally obvious to people like me? It would stand out a mile then to the rest of us.
