Just curious if there is a LHD version of the V8? Rover or MG?

Yes, of both, although in much smaller numbers than for RHD. LHD Rover 75 V8 is extremely rare. Quite a few LHD owners on this forum, myself included. I have a LHD ZT260, one of about ten in France (plus one 75 Rover V8, I believe). A few other forum members and cars in Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Sweden. The forum has been a great support to all of us with such rare models and fewer XPart dealers in our countries.
If you are thinking of buying, be warned that prices in continental Europe are much higher than in the UK for RHD cars. The German site Mobile DOT de usually has a few for sale.
    Cheers,
    Julian.

I think there are around 8-10 in Sweden but at least one is RHD.
There is no substitute for cubic inches!

    Hi Steve and welcome.

Yes they are about, mainly for sale overseas and you can usually add £10,000 to the asking price

Thanks all that replied! I'm going to spend the next year or so in England working for a Rover shop since I have too many years experience with Land Rover and Ford V8's. One "want" is a V8 Rover and V8 MG to bring to America. They will be a big hit here. Once at a British car meet I saw a man almost come to tears when he saw an MGR V8 and the owner refused to sell it! Its amazing how crazy the enthusiasm for Rover and MG cars are here. Again thank you for the information and hope to meet some of you during my stay.
