    Default Trip Computer

On the V8 the average and instant fuel consumption read outs are disabled on the trip computer - does anyone out there know if there's a way to re-enable?

    Thanks!

Just use a sticky note with "20 MPG" somewhere on the instrument display.

    Hi Tim,

They were never implemented on the 260. As far as I know MG Rover never got that far with interfacing the Ford/BMW systems. Some aftermarket OBD readers do have these functions.

It was deemed too difficult to get the gateway ECU to process this data between the Ford and Rover/BMW ECU's thus it was never implemented
