Default its the small things that count

Over the years of ownership with the ZT i have always hated the faded caps on the guttering on the roof.

I've tried all sorts to keep them black but it either washes off or just fades again.

I remember a thread on detailing world some time ago after trying to paint them and because of them being rubber or plastic it not bonding.

If you remove them buy prising them up.
Then using a blow torch on a very low flame, (properly work on a gas cooker as well) holding them in a pair of pliers gently but not too close to the flame move the face of the cap over the flame and they are transformed back to there glory. how long it will last i don't know, but could easily be done again in the future.

    Before and after

    and all four
