    Default Headlamp Protectors

    Hi All,

Anybody know if these are still available for the MK2? What do they go for? Are they any good? Easy to fit?

Also, are the genuine 260 mats still available? What are they going for?

    Cheers

Getting all protective of your new baby? Don't blame you!

Let me know if you get some and you think they're worth it - I might need some one day...

I've had them on my car pretty much since I got it. You can't really tell that they are on there but worth having I think

Very easy to fit on the Mk2 cars, i did fine that the screw that holds the protector to the bracket not very good and drilled and re tapped the hole for a better stainless bolt.

They only take 5 minutes to fit, the bracket is just slide between the light and part of the bumper then place the cover on the light and tighten the screw up

    Default Thanks!

Cheers guys, sounds like it's worth getting a set.

    Much appreciated.

Any thoughts about the 260 mats? Want to know if it's worth getting a spare set if they are becoming hard to come buy, genuine ones that is.

    Cheers

Rimmer Bros, have LHD ones for £10........

There are some listed on ebay, but these have round metal eyelets instead of oval plastic ones.........
