See, that's what I mean. Sounds far more reasonable for proper use of a 260. My average over 3 years is 19.2

After I got my car, the first full tank went at 22.37mpg. At the end of the first years ownership i got 18.9 mpg and with 13076 miles travelled, an average of 23.16 mpg; no track days that year.

Since then I've not bothered to keep a record but based on spot checks I still appear to be in the 22 to 23 mpg range and 25 to 27 on good days (or bad days depending on your point of view ). On track-day days the consumption goes in only one direction ; usually get about 14 to 16 for the whole day including the travelling to/from the track, so ontrack it's single figures

I got 267 miles out of tank today (or rather yesterday) - think that's the best I've managed

During winter months I was getting 164 miles on a tank, this went up to about 220 when a 70 mile round trip was included. Of late I think its around the 180 miles mark.
Once had a toyota avensis hire car, had it flat out heading to Wrexham on the A41, reset the trip at full chat, was doing 5mpg, cool

I got 26 on the way to Silverstone.

I had a couple of spirited drives at Silverstone and embarrassed an S6 Avante up the hills on the way home

My fuel gauge hit 1/4 and I had to stop to fill up

    I filled up to 1/2.

15 miles later the gauge hit 1/4 again
