    Default Tracking Fuel Consumption

I came across a website for tracking fuel economy and comparing it with similar vehicles: http://www.fuelly.com

It's fairly simple and just does what it says on the tin. It has a bit of an american bias, but you can get it into UK units (UK gallons + pounds) by clicking on "UK" in the top left corner. You can also enter fill-ups via your smartphone (iPhone or Android).

Not that I expect many 260 owners will be keen on tracking fuel consumption, but it would be interesting to see a comparison!

At the moment, it doesn't have ZT listed as an MG model, so you have to follow these instructions:
    http://www.fuelly.com/faq/8/vehicle-is-not-listed

And you can use banners like this:

I couldn't be arsed to keep logging the data! I'm currently using a tank of fuel every 2 or 3 weeks, which is fuel efficient enough for me at the moment

I keep track of the fuel consumption (and other services) mainly to find out if something starts to go wrong with the engine. (I know this is not that accurate but it helps at least a bit.)
For this I use the free application aCar on my Nexus One (Android platform).

I don´t want to know. I´m driving her like a sports car so if she does what I want, it´s ok.

Fuel consumption tracking I´m playing with my TDI.
    Makes me more happy

I have to go with that. It amazes me when people seem offended by the fact you own a `gas guzzler`. They actually make it their business and tell you that can`t understand why you drive `that`.
I mean, I don`t criticise their huge wifes food bill or ask them to sell their Great Dane and buy a yorkie as it would be `easier to run`.

I always like the look on MGB owners faces when I tell them I get 27mpg on a run

I don't like ZT260 owners telling me they get 27 miles on a run...it's just wrong
