i'm still interested to know what a stroked engine would produced power wise, and cost wise?
Peter Essling
When it appeared in one of the Enthusiasts Mags(not sure which)was hailed as a "Bentley Eater" and quoted at over 600 hp,I was privy to have a spin up and down the M606 in it as a passenger and was more impressed with the Xpowers under the motorway bridge than the outright speed at the time, as I was running with OEM BB's,I think any serious power chaser would not be interested in basically what's a fairly standard lump, maybe if it was the 32v 4.6 then this may attract more serious attention, just my thought's though.
To build a stroker 5.4 would cost as much as a blower and you would get about 40hp. The kit is ment to make the engine bigger but it has much better components which makes it possible to go to about 700hp if you want to change the heads/cams, injection, inlet and exhaust.
