    Default magnetic 260's badges

    detailed Black Olive today ready for showing it at the vintage rally next weekend.

    Pessling has kindly lent me his magnetic badges so had a play today .

    looking good. One recommendation with the magnetic badges is to make sure that the surface that they are going on it wiped off first to prevent any scratching.

    wiped the surface and the back of the badge !!

    Deano78 from the gentlemans club did the groundwork last year with a full machine polish, so its just maintenance now. used the finish kare hard wax, finished off with the fk1000 detailing spray. needed claying really but gave it a miss this time.

    looks better of course in pics than close up, cause you cant see the niggly bits. Previous owner did motorway work and the bumper really needs a respray, its peppered with tiny sonechips. also bonnet leading edge needs chips touching up

    That engine bay is a credit to you - wish I could get mine half that clean but short of pressure washing I don't think that's going to happen

    I don't like pressure washing the engine bay and have never done so. I'm so afraid of getting water in the electrics with such a hard waterjet. I do it the old fashion way with a rug and some detergents.
    Takes alot longer but keeps it dry!
