Reset oil service but not counting down now
Chaps,
The other day, I reset my oil service warning light using one of the switches from ebay following an oil service I had a couple of hundred miles back. It now says maintenance 5000. However, it does not seem to be counting down, and seems to be stuck on 5000. Surely this is not normal ? Shouldnt it be counting down ?

Think initial count down is in blocks of 25 or 50, it's only when it gets closer to the next service that it counts down every mile
Had the same problem with mine and then suddenly (ie after a few more miles) it started working
