Sorry but the standard map is quite good, thats why nobody can improve on it
If you plan to keep the car save up and buy a blower, an axtra 140 hp turns it into a real sports car, on par with a maseratti from 50 to 99 was following a 05 reg along M3 this afternoon he couldn't wait to floor it as soon as the road works finished, one thing he didn't bargain on though was the mg keeping up

Ok thanks guys, well just looking to take it to about 285bhp,its going in on Wed to have a custom made s/s exhaust, lets have a bit more bark at the back.Other than that she is standard right now. What made me think is there is a 260 so say ex MG press car on pistonheads over in Penarth Wales,I have been over to look with a view to buy it. They said it has had a re-map and is producing over 300bhp,it is fitted with the x power back boxes, and did sound gr8. However it felt no more quicker than mine, and in the bodyworks dept it was not a patch on mine, the colure is so say again the only one in Lilic. So I thought maybe there is a re-map out there with huge gains, seems like a little porky to me maybe? mike.

Mine was dyno'd at 281.8 bhp and 326.3 ft/ib torque and has the following mods:

    BBK Throttle Body
    XPower Back Boxes
    Custom air intake feed
. . with ITG Maxogen filter on the end
Cold air feed from the front to the filter

The torque curve is very linear with no drop-off
