    Default ZT 260 and 75 V8 silencers.

I know the tail pipes are different on the ZT and the estates have a different box but does anyone know if the ZT260 and 75 V8 are the same fitment? I want to buy some standard pipes so I can open them up and make them straight through pipes and I can get a set of standard 75 V8 saloon silencers (P/N: WDE000690 & WDE000700) I just need to know if they will actually fit on my ZT?

    Cheers for any help!

I understand the boxes are the same it is just the length of the end pipes.

I've got a set of used Saloon ZT260 pipes available for £70 (collected) if you're interested - if you're going to cut them open may be ideal. Damned heavy hence no posting

I'll drop you a PM Ragman.

These are listed as for the 'auto saloon', I had a look on another site and the middle pipes are different for the auto too.. I'm guessing they are not compatible

Let us know how you get one with this tailoring as I might follow with my standards sitting in the garage...

    Default exhausts

Exhaust boxes are the same except the two rear exit pipes bend downwards so the back bumper does not need cuts in it. Centre pipe has an additional small box in it to reduce resonance but is of the same length.

    Thanks for that!

Would you be confident in saying the V8 Auto boxes will fit on a ZT then?

    Cheers
