Default Where would you recommend for insurance?

    Hello

I have the chance of buying an 03 260 with 26,000 miles on the clock and wondered if you know of any specialist brokers for best insurance quotations. I will only do about 2,000 miles a year

    Thanks
    Andy

    Try Peter Best

Worth shopping around though as Peter Best can depend on who you talk to and whether car is to be garaged/postcode etc

I always did quite well with Peart.

Lots of insurers declined the 260 but they covered it for what I thought was quite a fair price and didn't require any sort of tracker.

For my first 260 I went with Lancaster
When I bought my current car Lancaster would no cover the Supercharger
I went to PB and their quote was less than my standard 260 had cost me with Lancaster three years ago!

    I paid £295 last year

Peter Best do an agreed value classic insurance for MGs that are three years old or older. You need to be a member of the MGOC and have a regular everyday car as well as your 260.Speak to Matthew Best for best results.

If you are young or have a 'bad' postcode try Admiral/elephant. A few of us toddlers have to use them as no one else will offer a sensible quote
