    Default Opinion on value needed

Hi, I am going to be selling my 260 in the relatively near future after a year of ownership. Interested to hear what you think it might be worth.

    54 plate non-SE pre-facelift 260
    Black
    2 previous owners
    48k miles
    Totally standard
Would come with Zeroes (not fitted)
    Tyres good, body good
    I think it's VIN 219

    Thanks

It's tricky to put a price on it..........I would say anything between ?7.5 to ?8.5K on a good day, perhaps even ?9K

I would sell the zeros separately a they are worth more then with the car

would definitely sell the exhaust separately, people will have your hands off for them on here. As for value, difficult one, but would agree with greeners

Heheheh - they offered me £2950 for our '54 reg Mazda 3 auto with 76k miles on it just before Christmas.

Are values rising slightly? I thought around 5k was more around the mark...

To value it I'd suggest taking a look on somewhere like PistonHeads at cars currently for sale and recently sold.

What you'll likely see is that higher priced cars take much longer to sell. I'd guess if you put yours up at over £8k it will take a while to shift it, but if you aren't desperate to sell you might get a buyer at that price. Problem is at the moment there are some very nice SE spec cars out there for less money than that.

Personally I think based on your description £6.5k is a realistic price and anything less than that you are giving the car away for too little. So maybe list it at £7k.

I paid just over £8k for mine, SE spec with about half the miles, and from a main dealer with warranty. I still feel I paid more than the car was worth but I was pretty desperate.
