    Default Any Suggestions ?

Hi all! Recently the yellow engine managment light has come on, on the message window of dash instrument panel, wondering if anything to do with HO2S sensors ? on exhaust. Have booked in for diagnostic test on Friday with local dealer, but any experiences and thoughts to this problem greatly received to prepare me for the worst. lagonda51.

you can get a low cost fault analyser/code reader that should spit out an engine management fault code. see here

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/U380-OBD-2-II-...item3ef0d29d25

this would confirm the dealers diagnostics- alternatively you could use it to clear the fault code and see if it reappears.

I used one of these to successfully detetct a faulty coil pack.

The light could indicate a multitude of (potential) problems, like Black Olive I have a low-cost code reader and it is a really handy thing to have in the car.

Code reader arrived this morning, no more than twelve hours after I ordered it! Remarkable! I'll be leaving positive feedback all right!

And thanks again for the link, Steve.
