Default Plustek 7300 35mm film scanner

I have for sale my Plustek 7300 35mm film/slide scanner, my intention was to digitizes all the photos that are in my family as some of the originals are fading and to preserve photos from my childhood using the original negatives. Little used, very good scans. lots of settings for various qualities.

£160 delivered, or picked up from UB7 area

Did you not carry out your intention then Peter?
This is something I had been considering for the same reasons...
does it get real 'old' real quick with long scan times to get good results?

I'm talking about doing hundreds obviously... for one offs time dosent matter...

The reason behind selling is that i got a new canon 5600 scanner for my birthday which does film scanning as well, the plustek has a better dpi at 7200 compared to the cannons 4200 but the cannon will do up to 6 negatives at a time compared to the 1 on the plustek, can't fault the quality of the plustek but is time consuming when doing lots of them, but one off's or 5-10 is worth it, i found that whilst scanning one negative you can be photoshopping one to restore colour etc.

I'd be interested but I mostly shoot medium format so at the moment I just chuck the negs/slides straight onto a flatbed and scan like that.
