"NOISEY DIFFS ARE A BIG PROBLEM ON THESE CARS"

Why would bidder 2 outbid himself from £200 to £500 over a 25 minute period?

    Very odd...

yup, i reckon its too dear as they are one of the strongest parts of the car and have never had one go wrong in 35+ 260's i have sold

plus its quite marked, scuffed and looks like it has rust on it and its supposed to be new

i think i would leave it

I've been watching this as well, there was another diff on for ages at £300+, had a look but don't see it now.

As a matter of interest I had a look at TVR diffs and they're listed at around £500.

I know there is a specialist in Blackpool who reconditiones them but are near enough brand new after rebuild funnily (enough does TVR too! ). I can't remember for sure who i was talking to about it, i think it was Nick @ Austin Garages but the company did a bang up job and certainly cheaper then the £500 they want off ebay!

Do you think he's trying to create a "market price" by producing false sales?

I see there is a reserve price, wonder what it is? (Answers on a postcard!!)
