    Default Official build numbers

    Hi guys,
In order for me to bring a ZT V8 into NZ privately it has to meet certain criteria for crash performance, emissions etc. However, there is a new 'special interest vehicle' category under which the V8 would fall and would make things potentially a lot easier as finding all the relevant official documentation to prove that the V8 meets Euro III and ncap safety ratings etc is a bit of a bugger.

One of the criteria I need to fill is that the car must have been built in numbers of less than 20,000/year, so obviously the V8 fills that easily enough. However, I need to prove it to them in power, so I was wondering if anyone has or could point me in the right direction of some official build numbers, on an MGR letter head would be fantastic but anything official looking will do

    Cheers
    Andrew

I have an april 2005 ZT-T with build number 800.

I have no problem copying the official papers on the car.
If a few others would do that also we can prove that the car was build in small numbers of the years.

I guess we put a car register together with all known numbers.
That would be a lot of work but would provide even more detail.

let me know if I need to scan the car papers (will be in Dutch). But serienummer is serialnumber so not that difficult.

Can someone please clarify for me how to identify the build number - ie the 3 digits that are usually referred to? Is it simply the last 3 digits of the VIN number? Just need it clarifiying please. Thanks
