    Yes a good price, I bought six rear and four front for the same price from them.

    That should set the car up for a few years.

    why thanks that's a bit selfish, you'll never need that many, and the old ones can be refurbished any way.

    Check that the dampers are not Rover spec as they are black. If they are Rover spec they are softer and not suited to the MG260.

    The Front dampers I bought from Premier are Yellow and marked as follows.
    ON STICK ON LABLE
    F4 - VE3 - 5177 - TO
    RNB001080

    STAMPED ONTO BODY
    RNB 001080
    1004VE3 5177 TO

    The front damper and spring units BOUGHT OF e.BAY are black and marked as follows:

    ON STICK ON LABLE
    F4 - VE3 - BO14 - TO
    RNB 001210

    ON SECOND STICK ON LABLE
    RND 001390-QR

    STAMPED INTO BODY
    RNB001200
    1604 VE3 B014 TO

    AND THE SPRING REB001210

    I hope this helps anyone else looking at them,

    Other than the MG Rover part number does any one know what the other numbers mean ?

    The yellow ones that the first ebay link is to are only for the ZT 260; the epc marks them as 'manual only'.
