there are cut outs in the skirts, so don't cover them up at all.

Looks like there mine at a cost of 49.00 interestingly does anyone know how much they were from the main dealer ?

Peter, could you give me a few pointers on how to fit these, I guess the sill strip which is stainless on a rover just pulls off and these push on ?
If its any consilation one my mirrrors cover needs spraying after somebody scraped it on holiday so these can be done at the same time

when i got mine i only got them sprayed, as they were already primed. However i would rub them down and re-prime them or get the sprayer to, to get a better finish.

you'll laugh when you read the instructions! as it says to just pull of the lower strip as you rightly said the chrome bit on the 75. give it a good clean up, i never did but cover the area in waxoyl before the skirt goes on. don't use the glue strips it comes with, use some tiger seal if you can get some, or some strong bonding adhesive. its also screwed to the bottom sill of the car with supplied screws. What i had to do as someone clipped it with there foot getting out of the back is i had to pull it off and reattach it, i also screws some stainless self tappers into the wheel arches. as its only held on the front with screws, not the rear. they are pretty self explanatory to fit, just some pointers that i had to do
