    Default For Sale: MK2 ZT260

It's with great regret that I have to sell my much loved and highly cherished Mk2 ZT 260 V8 SE (#277 of 883).

The car was originally a dealer principal?s car and was fitted with the number plate ?MZT? when first registered which is included in the sale.

Finished in pearlescent black pearl the car is of SE specification, so includes: electric memory heated leather seats, hi-line navigation and TV with teletext, 6-disc CD changer, xenon headlights, 4 electric windows, cruise control, traction control, front, side and head airbags, 18" Apex alloys with shadow chrome finish, electric sunroof, message centre/trip computer, auto dimming rear view mirror, auto wipers, rear parking sensors, traffic master, heated washer jets and battery back-up alarm.

Also fitted is the all important X-Power exhaust system which makes the 4.6l Mustang engine sound fantastic (and makes you smile like mad!). Also included are a set of four 260s club logo?d carpet mats, as new.

The car is in immaculate condition inside and out and has been pampered, cleaned and polished meticulously on a regular basis.

The next service is the cheap oil change (due in about 300 miles? time). MOT until April 2010 and taxed until April 2010 (what is amazing is that the road tax is capped at £215 per year!).

The car has full service history and has only covered 35,000 miles.

Also included is the very expensive and hard to find alloy spare wheel. The car was Supagarded by the dealer when new and the Supagard after-care kit, complete with the bag, remains with the car.

If you are interested in the car you will not be disappointed after seeing or driving the car. This is a fine example of a very rare and special car.

    Offers around £8,500.

Please PM me for contact details or for further information.

    Thankyou everyone,
It's so sad after 2 years of fantastic motoring & being part of such a wonderful group of people, to have to be leaving the fold.
I was looking forward to many years of learning & developing my 260 along with you all, and seeing how all your 260's developed too.
I have had a far greater experience in the main, owning, driving & meeting other owners & club members than i could have imagined.
Hopefuly in the future another opportunity to own a nice example of this rare and pleasurable vehicle will be mine, along with being part of you all again!! ( fingers crossed)

Well Friends, at the very last minute i've managed to keep my pride & joy, but it was a very close thing.
A guy came from York & drove it, he's had one before! An MG collector from Aberdeenshire rang & wanted to see it and a guy in the Mansfield area was interested.
But i've managed to keep it for the foreseable future, so hope to be seeing you again at some of the shows! .
