    Default Greetings!

    Hi everyone!
Just a quick intro to me...

I have yet again been infected with V8 lust (happens at every event!) after Gaydon last weekend.

This time It's really going to happen. The pieces are in place... Big engine cars are rock bottom prices, my daily commute is short (4 miles! instead of >30) the cash is in the bank and the approval has been given from the financial controller

So some of you may have seen me on the other fora (been kinda quiet lately, it's been a busy 18 months!) or met me at events.

I currently have a 53 Trophy blue ZS and my wife has a N plate Japanese MGF in British Racing Green, and we get to the odd event or two when we can.

so ever since seeing AliCat's MKII 260SE a few years ago it's been a drool fest for me and her.

now I just have the arduous task of finding a tourer... no easy task... i think half of them were at gaydon at the weekend!

    Cheers!
    Al

    Hi Al,

And welcome. As has been posted on here before, V8 Tourers are rarer than saloons and as such, a bit harder to track down.

If you are flexible in your choice of colour you will probably have more luck.

    Good luck and good hunting.

    Phil

Well i'm not in a massive rush to get one, the zs is doing an outstanding job right now and haven't had a drive in one yet... Who knows, it may not be my bag once I try one out.

Hi King Minger-you say a ZT260 may not be your bag when you try it out? Trust me-it will!

    Cheers Guys!

@ragman I'm down on the coast, between Portsmouth and Southampton

just seen this one on autotrader:
on at £9999, currently wearing V80 OMG. the page reckons the plate is worth 2.5K. is that a fair assessment? I wouldn't keep the plate as tempting as it might be!
