Auto ZT V8's?

Hi guys,
Haven't posted here much, haven't quite managed to buy a V8 yet, but the search is continuing...

Anyhow, I have just been sent some info from a friend with all the MG's currently registered one way or the other in NZ. The last two entries are MG "ZT 260 V8 AUTO SALOON" - question for everyone/anyone, I seem to recall there was the option of having a ZT built with the auto box from the Rover V8, but couldn't recall if any had been built. Can anyone shed any light? I am wondering if the cars have been listed incorrectly, though it does come from a reputable source.

I'm not that interested in buying these particular cars, as a) Fiancee wants a wagon, b) they'll be asking 4-5x more than I could get one from the UK and c) if they are both auto's I definitely don't want one just curious as to wether they are indeed autos or not.
