Default Anyone knows that car? (VIN#406)

I must admit, I almost decided to go for S-Type R. There is one in Birmingham and I am going to have a look at it, but when browsing on Autotrader I spotted that 56reg 21k miles on the clock 260SE. Mobile HPI shows its VIN number ends with 406. The price is 8000 which seems fairly reasonable, don't you think? Maybe you know the owner or can say anything about the car. The best thing it's also in Birmingham so I can have a look and decide which one I prefer

Nothing is coming up but the wheels have been refurb in a silver and not shadow chrome, the rear exhausts are a bit tatty and the hose has not been replaced. So would suggest that it has been in general use and not kissed all over by an enthusiast. Engine bay looks clean.

Looks like an honest car, go and give it a go. Guessing you will find the Jag is better in the cabin but the ZT260 will show you the true V8 character.

I am not concerned about the road tax. After 6 months I would "export" it which would save a lot on road tax and insurance. I would probably have to do all the mods myself... They could have at least do a refurb of alloys in gunmetal which would look better than plain silver...

This car followed mine off the production line. I have 405.
