    I think that it might be because the mirrors fold themselves in when you switch off you don't have to hunt around for the switch panel? And, of course you don't need to remember to fold them yourself.

    Downsides are of course that you can't wave at people like TIm does, and you can't fold them in when going more than 120mph

    I use mine several times a day.

    But this is down to being the victim twice of bike riders (remember Netherlands) kicking them off. Not on the ZT-T though. I guess the car radiates more respect or the folding really works.

    As I make it a habid to use them daily you do not forget either.
    This also means they work pretty wel as mine are doing fine after 70K miles.
