Default New member Any info on this one?

    Hello, I'm Gezl

Going up to Wickwar tomorrow to have a look. Wondered if anyone on here knows any history. Wilcox have sent me some pictures which are not on their site. Yes I know it is a bit expensive in this present climate but it is a buyer's market and who knows they might be pleased to see me. Positive or negative comments welcome.

The photos are attached to another forum, cant see an easy way to upload them here.

Some men see things as they are and say why - I dream things that never were and say why not.

Nice car. late reg, needs a nice set of mats
The only problem is the price which is about £3k above what a private sale would (probably) realise at the moment.
Dealers do charge more though so I'd be realistic about how much you could get off and go for a free warranty, full service, fuel clip etc.

If I was looking for a ZTT now I'd be happy to pay about 10 but would want some of the other stuff as well.
To be honest we all spend plenty on our cars so if it's what you want..........

    Good luck!

    Hi Gezi,

and welcome over hear! I've seen this car before a few times over there, but then, it is my local!

As others have said, make sure it has full MOT, warranty, TAX, Fuel clip and heater hose done.

I doubt you'll get much knocked off it though! You could always try and get some XPower exhausts thrown in / cheap as part of the deal!!

    Good luck!

Thanks for the replies everybody. MOT is not actually due until July. It will be interesting to see what they offer for my 160+ supplied by them 07 with just 4000 miles on the clock and still as new. We will see how things turn out in the morning. Somebody asked for the vin, so I'll bring that back with me if nothing else!

    Regards Gezl.

    Build date 04, VIN 487, first registered 1st July 2006, 21,000 miles.

It was certainly worth the 100 mile round trip to view this car. First impression, the overall appearance was much better than expected. My son and I closely examined every panel and could not find a single mark. Wheels were also unmarked, a little bit of rust on some of the wheel bolts. Carpets and seats were excellent, little bit of creasing on driver?s seat but that?s normal with leather.
Front badge de-laminating slightly. The insides of the 4 exhaust pipes were spotless. The engine ran like a dream with no vibration and no movement when blipping the throttle.
The sound from the rear end was pure music and nothing visible coming from those 4 pipes.
Supplied new in 2006 with a personalized plate and serviced by Wilcox, comes with a full warranty. This is probably the best example you are going to find.
They offered me an above book-price for my 160 but sadly the gap was beyond my budget.
I personally felt they were quietly confident the car would sell for the asking price and they were in no hurry.
