Actually, if that IS Tony's old car (and Tim, I've no reason to doubt you) then alarm bells are starting to ring.

I've been having a look to see if I could find that video of him tracking it against the M3 CSL (sadly it seems to be no more on his website), but in looking for a link, I noticed him saying on PH that he'd done over 50,000 miles in it, which would suggest that the owner since he sold it over a year ago has done minus 2,000 miles in it!

Stralis, you might want to approach with a little more caution than usual. I think I've still got Tony's mobile number somewhere, so if they do claim it's on 48k miles, I could put you in touch with him to check.
You polish yours if you want to. I'll be driving mine!

Check the engine on that one. It may just be a trick of the light, but it looks as though it has already been fitted with an Accufab (or other polished) throttle body and plenum rather than the stock part.

If it has got an Accufab fitted, this is a good thing, as it gives you an extra 8-10bhp, and isn't cheap!

Was on ebay a good while ago in Ireland....had a rear shot of it sporting the Nurburg ring sticker on the boot lid which I know Tony did.
