Congratulations and welcome to 260 ownership.
The few of us who pilot the Gentleman's carriage version of the 260 are permitted on here also, despite the concealed exhausts
Enjoy..........

Rears should wear evenly... a lot of peoples fronts wear on the outside shoulders though...
Fuel clip should have been done by now, would have thought it would have broken down if it hadnt. easy to check, its under the rear seat. Guide somewhere on here
Frnt seat - Probably dont have to remove the seat, the connections are just floating about underneth them...
Yeah, disconnect the battery to allow the airbags to discharge or whatever - just make sure the satnav LED has gone out before disconnecting the battery.
Engine light cant be good? worth getting checked out with a T4 diagnostic or LPG specialist? maybe one of the other LPGers floating around here can comment.

Welcome, You'll have few regrets, Xpowers are SS Steel and will probably outlast the car?
As a Mark I you may need to check the rear springs as there are posts relating to their quality on this site. If you have a local MGR dealer it may be worth having an experienced inspection, there will be members who can guide you in the right direction. There does appear to be a few terminal issues you may need checked over, that's part of 260 ownership.
Great choice!!
Paul
Thanks guys.
oops what was that you said about the sat nav light?! didnt check it before disconecting battery - what happens if it's on? ignition had been off a while though?
Anyway, seat bolts removed so I could tip it backwards to check the wiring - there's a lot going on under there!
On first inspection everything seems to look ok - cant see any obviously loose or disconnected plugs....except for one black one that is at the start where the wiring meets the seat frame and is hanging completely loose - but I cant see exactly where or if this should plug in anywhere - it almost looks like ot is supposed to be like this? like a diagnostic connector or something? could this be the case or could this be the loose rogue plug?
as an aside - can the TV system be overiden so that the TV can be used on the move? This is not for me to use/watch as the driver, but so my wife and kids can watch it.
Cheers
Welcome
Check out his whole site, but Spunagain's site has the service schedule,
