As many of you followed the reshell of my V8 ZT, I thought I would let you know its now up for sale, for a low price of 10K, for a 2007 56 reg car, OK is got 2003 running gear but that only done 18,000 miles anyway.
An interesting project and good that from the demise of two cars one has been restored. Just a small confusion stands out in respect to the registration.
The band G high rate of tax was introduced on 23rd March 2006 i.e. during the 06 registration period so the natural presumption is that any car of over 225gm per km emission registered after then will be in this higher band. Clearly a 56 plated car would falls into this high rate group. Then you mention that the car was registered three days before the new higher rate was introduced in March 2007?
I point this out only because some potential buyers may be put off from the confusion.
