Sorry Nick but he's after a saloon.
David, That is positive. One less expensive airfreight bill!
I just brought in a Janspeed cat-back system for my 190 and the shipping was 205.GBP
You really have to be dedicated to own a modern MG here.
Parts for the Abingdon cars are available in Canada but as we never got the Longbridge cars there isn't
much more than consumables like spark plugs available for them here. I'm glad that there are some
excellent suppliers in the UK that are happy to ship parts overseas.
Nicolas Roughol knows the vehicle I think (#012), and can confirm the 'zero question' or prove me wrong.
He's On the Facebook MG Rover 260 V8 Owners and Enthusiast's Group or here under the name "Scoubix".

I have been messaging Nicolas about the car and he was very helpful with information, although we didn't get into specifics like the exhaust.
I haven't contacted the seller yet as I don't have all my ducks in a row.
I'm hoping to be in a position to buy in a month or two, but have to look into shipping arrangements first.
The car is in the south of France which complicates things a bit as I have to see what arrangements can be made to get the car to the port,
and will have to look at what is required paperwork wise to ship a car out of France.
My ZT-T came from Germany and the seller was very helpful in getting everything in order. As a matter of fact he was only selling as he had just bought an R75 V8.
I used to be indecisive but now I'm not so sure.
When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth

Thanks Pete
That's helpful
When I bought my ZT-T from Germany the seller was very helpful with the paperwork, and I used a freight forwarder to pick up the car and get it to the port and loaded for shipment. If I do go with 0012 hopefully things will go as smoothly.

As I said I'm not certain, but IIRC it was mentioned in one of the many adverts over the years, and also as an annotation to the MGR database extracts from 'Scarlet Fever'. No proof.
Me too, but more often than not now, most of those are things I definitely did know yesterday.... I'm amazed at myself for realizing there are things I don't know![]()
