Default No395 for Sale - possible project?

    Hi all, I'm selling No395!
after many years of using her less and less its just not viable for it to be left on the drive anymore.

    2005 mk2 - Black SE saloon
current mileage is approx. 90500, probably less but I too the battery out to keep on the conditioner so can check for sure when I plug it back on.
    MOT until April 2025

I bought this from a previous member on here 'Fishy' back in 2011! Had some amazing times in this car loved every minute of it. But life moves on and things change and having this sat around for so long without proper storage and/or not being used is sacrilegious!

I've put this as a possible project as there are a few things that do need doing and sorting which are listed below.

    Bad points
-advised on front brake lines but have had quote for them and I also have the flexi lines but not fitted.
    - last service was with Steve at British legends a few years back so although only a few thousand miles have been done it could probably benefit from a service
-there are a couple of dents in the bonnet from when I had my solar panels fitted and a scaffold coupling fell out not the bonnet (shown in pics) got quoted £100 for PDR.
    - heater matrix needs attention as blows hot air unless you turn the air con on.
    - sunroof drains regularly cleared but I will try and sort that anyway to make sure all is good
    - sunroof slider cover is off, Steve @ British legends tried to fix it but in the end decided to take it off as the runners had bent?
    - rear interior light brackets broken (common) so took it out to fix it at some point but never got round to it. I still have it in the car.
    - x2 rear tyres will need replacing as the car sits around so much they have cracks in them.
    - Diff needs refurb - I've allowed for that in the price as I was quoted between 500-750ish all in for a refurb. Still drivable!
    - retro fitted rear blind however one of the rollers popped off somehow but I will try to put it back on obviously.
    - common leak in boot (not massive leak though) I've narrowed it down to the rear qtr. trim! As I done the window clips, and rear light seals etc?.
    - age related paintwork although it does seem very good still, I used to clay it before a polish and wax but hasn't been done for a long while now as I do not use her.

Other than the above the interior is still in great condition, the leather really has held up extremely well. I used to use a leather conditioner so I have done my bit to keep things reasonable. Roof lining is ever so slightly starting to sag at the back but you wouldn't notice unless you looked closely (see pictures).
had a larger plenum fitted at the last service with Steve and had the K&N filter oiled too.

I've been as honest as I can and I would never want to 'hoodwink' anyone its just not what I want to do. I'm In no rush to sell however seeing it sit there is heart-breaking when I know the 260?s community would want this to be appreciated and not just sat doing nothing. I can quite honestly say the community on here is by far the best I've ever experienced!

    I'll start it with a
    PRICE £4,500.

To help you out a bit, Glyn, if you click on his user-name here > 'Mark' , it will display his user profile. on the left are the options to 'Send a Private Message' or 'Send an Email'. You may need to send both (!) since I have found Mark (Mark Fullick) to be elusive sometimes.

Yes, Mark has not visited the Forum since 16/10/2024, so can not have read any PMs he may have been sent. Odd, since as far as I am aware this is the only place #395 is listed.

Glyn. Not a good idea posting your mobile. Do as David suggests. PM or email.

I used to be indecisive but now I'm not so sure.
